Our Mission

King of Glory Lutheran Church exists to be a congregation that is saved and strengthened by Jesus Christ to serve others. 

We are associated with the AFLC (Association of Free Lutheran Congregations). 

What We Believe 

*We believe and confess and the Pastor shall teach, that the Holy Scriptures, the canonical books of the Old and New Testaments, are the inspired and inerrant Word of God, revealed for our salvation and are the only source and rule of faith, doctrine, and life of this congregation.
*We confess Jesus Christ as Lord of the Church.  The Holy Spirit creates and sustains the Church through the Gospel and thereby unites believers with their Lord and with one another in the fellowship of faith.
*We hold that the Gospel is the revelation of God’s sovereign will and saving grace in Jesus Christ.  In Him, the Word Incarnate, God imparts Himself to men.
*We accept the Apostles’, the Nicene, and the Athanasian creeds as true declarations of the faith of the Church.
*We accept the Unaltered Augsburg Confession and Luther’s Small Catechism as true witnesses to the Gospel.
*We accept the following symbolical books of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Apology of the Augsburg Confession, the Smalcald Articles, Luther’s Small and Large Catechism, and the Formula of Concord, as further valid interpretations of the confession of the church.
*We believe the mission of the Church is an attempt to proclaim the Gospel to everyone and that the solemn obligation of every believer is to endeavor to win others to Christ by an exemplary life and personal witness.
